The Authors of Pain have been involved in a bitter feud with Chad Gable & Bobby Roode…mainly due to Drake Maverick’s Survivor Series accident. On Monday Night Raw, that feud led to a surprising outcome.
Since Gable & Roode made fun of Maverick for his incontinence, Maverick has been hellbent on making them pay by sicking the Raw Tag Team Champions on them. This week, Roode & Gable got a shot at the titles in a 3-on-2 handicap match.
Maverick pinned Roode last week in a 3-on-1 handicap match and looked to pick up the win for his team again. However, that would be AOP’s undoing.
After a Super Collider from the champions, Roode and Gable were laid out on the mat. Maverick tagged himself in to further humiliate Roode. However, the former NXT Champion was playing possum and rolled up Maverick for the win.
