This week’s episode of NXT featured the NXT women’s division. A huge battle royal took place to determine who would challenge for Rhea Ripley’s NXT Women’s Title.
Ripley will be defending her title against Toni Storm at WWE Worlds Collide, but the winner of the battle royal will be the next challenger.
The final competitors in the match were Bianca Belair and Io Shirai after Shotzi Blackheart threw out Shayna Baszler. Blackheart was then thrown over as well. After an intense bout, Bianca Belair was able to eliminate Io Shirai.
Belair has become the #1 contender for the NXT Women’s Title and will be challenging for it at NXT TakeOver: Portland on February 16th.
