TNA Rumored To Be Signing An Extension With Destination America Soon

TNA’s original contract with Destination America was only supposed to be for 39 episodes of Impact Wrestling, which would mean that their deal would be up on October 7th.

TNA President Dixie Carter said in her interview Sports Illustrated that TNA is “contracted to Destination America through the end of the year, and we are in discussions going on for 2016.”

It’s now being speculated that TNA and Discovery have signed some type of an extension that will carry them through February of 2016.

As noted, TNA is expected to tape TV in India in late November and early December. The idea is to use Mahabali Shera as the big babyface to get fans in India interested in TNA’s product.

If TNA can tape episodes of Impact in India then they would have enough footage to last them until their late January U.K tour. Then they would use that footage through mid-March.

This is an ongoing story, so stay tuned.
