Tommaso Ciampa has cemented himself as an A+ player on NXT with his feud against Johnny Gargano and his tremendous NXT Title run. However, this glorious run had to end abruptly due to an injury and Ciampa had to be sidelined.
Famous wrestling fan Izzy recently got to have a word with Ciampa about the momentous transition of NXT from being a developmental brand to something that will now rival SmackDown LIVE and RAW.
While answering this question, Ciampa addressed the rumors about his role in this whole scenario and revealed that he’ll be coming back to a wrestling ring. However, he followed it up by adding that he’s not been cleared yet so it probably won’t be happening in the near future.
Ending the brief interview, Ciampa revealed that he’ll surely be present with the rest of the locker room tonight when NXT goes LIVE on USA Network and he’s excited but that excitement would’ve been doubled had he gotten to compete.
