The Wednesday Night Wars started last year when WWE NXT made its debut on the USA Network and AEW Dynamite debuted on TNT. Tommaso Ciampa has an opinion regarding this.
With AEW’s inception, there has been a lot of competition between the two companies and some NXT Superstars approve of this. Tommaso Ciampa recently spoke to Sportskeeda regarding the Wednesday Night Wars competition.
Ciampa certainly enjoys the competition as it brings out the best in all the wrestlers. It makes things more fun. Competition breeds success and Ciampa certainly agrees with this
“It makes it a little bit more fun. It brings that competitive edge out. I mean, I have friends over there and I also have people over there I’ve never met or ever shared a ring with.”
“It’s awesome to see, you know, everyone just elevating their game. Everyone just wants it. I don’t know if people say ratings don’t matter… they sure as hell matter. Like, you want to win.”
Tommaso Ciampa is a locker room leader in NXT and is one of the top stars of the brand. He is currently engaged in a feud with his long-time friend and rival Johnny Gargano.
