Never one to pull any punches, Tony Ferguson is throwing around his weight on Twitter and this time it’s aimed at arguably the greatest of all time, Khabib Nurmagomedov. Tony stated the following on his Twitter as he showed a video of Khabib and himself squaring up at a press conference: “Throw🥇Back” Is It Tuesday Yet?!? This started years ago when Khabib was still fighting within the UFC. The fight between he and Ferguson was canceled due to Khabib having a rib injury. While this was proven to be true, some didn’t believe it and thought that Khabib was just backing out of the fight.
Of course, at the time, and still, Nurmagomedov’s record was and is better than Ferguson’s, so to say he was pulling out due to being ‘scared’ is a big stretch that many still choose to stand by. The last time Tony took shots at Khabib on Twitter, Khabib told him to focus on his upcoming opponent and that he looked like “a shi*”.
