The former WWE star CM Punk is reportedly considering a return to fhe squared circle which he had been denying for last few years. It turns out that Tony Khan led-AEW could be his possible destination upon his return to pro-wrestling.
Tony Khan might have dropped hints about CM Punk signing
Punk has been the topic of discussion for sometime now. Even after all thess years, the fans are not ruling a return of the veteran star. It is not known whether Punk has signed any contract with any company. Bella Twins Family Surprise Divorce Revealed
According to F4WOnline, Punk and AEW have been talking for “a while.” It is unknown whether thr former WWE Champion will actually wrestle again, but the talks have apparently not died down.
Dave Meltzer said that he doesn’t know where talks stand, but as far as talks happening, that has been the case for a while.
It is noted that Meltzer has a good contact with AEW President Tony Khan and he might have dropped some tip about the talks with Punk. Previously, it was noted that AEW sent CM Punk a text message to gauge his interest when the company first started.
The Second City Savior has been away from pro wrestling since 2014 and we will have to see if he actually makes his comeback to the squared circle.
