Tony Khan on when details of AEW’s TV show will be announced

Tony Khan

AEW announced their partnership with TNT for a TV Show in May but there hasn’t been a lot of update on the show since then and we don’t even know the start date for their program yet.

During the post Fight For The Fallen media interviews, the AEW President Tony Khan talked about a number of things and he also answered a question about their TV deal.

Khan was asked about the details of the show and the AEW President said that they will be making announcements soon and all details will likely be announced before All Out:

“It won’t be that long, it’s coming, it’s coming, there will definitely be announcements soon and I would say, we’ve got a lot to do before All Out. … I would say well before All Out. I can’t give an exact date, but certainly before All Out, but we’re really focusing on getting to All Out. Along the way, I’ll definitely have more information.”

Continuing on the topic, Tony Khan also discussed how there has been a void of pro wrestling programming and the interest in AEW shows that there is enough audience to sustain a major league, high-production value, second wrestling company, nationally, weekly.

I don’t want to diss the show before it happens, but I will say where he says “”high-production value” I hope he realises that one of the biggest complaints about AEW so far has been the production value and the commentary.
By the time they hit TV they really need to improve that.

WWE have a hell of a lot of faults, but from a production stand point they are unmatched.
