Top indie stars not going to WWE?

Both Pentagon Jr and Rey Fenix have been subject to many rumors in recent weeks after it was reported that WWE was interested in bringing these stars in.

At one point, both the brothers had stopped taking bookings for 2019, which many took as an indication of them signing an exclusive contract with the company.

However, during a recent indie show, Pentagon said that he is not going anywhere and he will be at PCW, where he is the current PCW Champion, for many years.

And now Dave Meltzer of the wrestling observer is reporting that the brothers have started taking bookings for next year. Here is a snippet from the latest wrestling observer newsletter:

Pentagon Jr. and Fenix have started making commitments to promoters for next year, which indicates they aren’t planning on signing with WWE, who had a lot of interest in them. When the brothers are free and clear from their current Lucha Underground contracts, they could go anywhere.

After these updates, it’s starting to look more likely that these two wrestlers will stay in the indie circuit for atleast the next year.
