The WWE Performance Center has been troubled by coronavirus outbreak in the past and now another top NXT star has tested positive for COVID-19, according to FightFul select.
While the site does not reveal the name of the star who has tested positive, they note that “this one didn’t necessarily have the concern attached to it that previous positive tests have had that led to an outbreak.”
According to the report, the person who tested positive had been staying away from large crowds. He is also said to be not booked for the upcoming NXT Takeover: WarGames event.
It’s worth mentioning here that some reports that came out last month suggested that talents on the NXT brand were frustrated about the company’s handling of the coronavirus protocols.
Though the person not being booked for the upcoming Takeover event is good news for the company as it likely means that the promotion will not have to make any major changes to the upcoming show. We will keep you posted on the story.
