Bobby Lashley has not had the smoothest returns and endured a rough few months initially. However, with Lio Rush by his side, Lashley has been on the rise as of late.
Despite that, the momentum came to a screeching halt after Finn Balor managed to pick up the victory over the former IMPACT star.
Dave Meltzer noted on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that the reason behind Lashley’s surprising loss is the fact that the former ECW Champion has been working hurt as of late. The nature of the injury is still unknown. Meltzer also went on to add that it is still unknown whether Lashley needs some time off.
RAW has been hit with the injury plague as Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are out for several months while Roman Reigns is out as well without a definite time frame for his comeback.
