Former Universal Champion Finn Balor will be taking some time off from WWE and the belief is that he will be off WWE Programming after SummerSlam, according to latest reports.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Balor requested some time away from WWE and he will take “a little bit of time” away from the company in the beginning of August.
While the exact reason for this request is not known, Finn is believed to be taking a couple of months off from the company and one source says that he is just looking to re-charge.
Finn Balor defended his Intercontinental Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura at the Extreme Rules PPV and Nakamura was able to beat the former Champion in this bout.
Balor was then attacked by a returning Bray Wyatt on Raw and it looks likely that he will take his time off after putting Wyatt over at SummerSlam.
