Triple H ‘Begs’ Daniel Bryan For WWE Contract?

It’s official, Daniel Bryan is – at this time – no longer under WWE contract. Could Bryan be waiting on offers from such organizations as AEW, NJPW, or even Impact? While that’s not yet clear, what we do know is that WWE is already trying to scramble up a new deal for Bryan to stay with them…Daniel Bryan ‘Leaves’ WWE, Going To AEW?

Now, as we had reported a few months ago, the original plan was that Bryan would be going from in-ring action to working with WWE behind the scenes as a writer. The plan may have changed, believe it or not, as Bryan’s contract ran out this past Friday at the time of writing this article. Bryan has yet to sign anything new.

The news on this matter comes to us from the very famed, Dave Meltzer, as he had posted his knowledge on the F4Wonline.com forums. Triple H and Vince McMahon have been desperately trying to get him to sign a new deal.

Dave stated the following as it pertained to Daniel Bryan’s WWE contractual deal: “His contract did expire Friday but they are pushing hard for him to sign a new deal….”

Dave finished off with stating about WWE: “They aren’t unorganized. They’ve been trying for months.”

With WWE trying to get things going for months, maybe Bryan is thinking of heading elsewhere since there seems to be no rush on his end on the matter.
