Triple H ‘Brings Back’ Fired WWE Star?

Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Vince McMahon and WWE’s multi-year partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been a tremendous financial success for the company, even if the partnership has been controversial throughout it’s duration, and last year it led to WWE secretly bringing back a fired star, then canceling the return. However, one positive from the partnership is that the series of mega-events held in Saudi Arabia has brought together some dream matches such as John Cena Vs. ‘The King of Kings’ Triple H , The undertaker Vs Goldberg and D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) against The Brothers of Destruction (The Undertaker and Kane) to name a couple. It was recently revealed that Vince McMahon ‘apologized’ to this fired WWE diva.

However, not every major return match comes to fruition – for example there have been reported instances of Saudi officials asking WWE to produce wrestlers who have passed on, such as the late WWE Champion, Yokozuna. Other rejections have been more practical, as it is being reported by Fightful that Saudi officials wanted a match with Hornswoggle for a recent show in the kingdom. The plan would have been to have Hornswoggle face Robbie “The Giant” Araujo, who is known by playing ‘JB-Elf’ back in 2018. While Hornswoggle was used during the ‘Greatest Royal Rumble’ in a short, cameo appearance – this planned match was never able to take place.
