Triple H Cancels Logan Paul WWE Match

John Cena had been rumored to face Logan Paul in a potential match against Logan Paul at WrestleMania 39. In addition to that, even Logan Paul has messaged Triple H about facing John Cena at WrestleMania. WWE’s actual plans will see Cena face Austin Theory at the Show of Shows instead, so a match with Logan Paul seems unlikely now.

John Cena is unlikely to face Logan Paul

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, John Cena is slated to face Austin Theory at WrestleMania. This has actually been a part of their plan for a while:

“It looks like it’s going to be Cena and Theory at Mania. It was the plan way, way back”

Vince McMahon gave John Cena full permission and his blessing to do as much with WWE as he could, even though he retired. He told Cena that before Mr. McMahon’s took over WWE once again.

WWE is building Austin Theory into one of their biggest stars. It is to be seen if Theory will perform at WrestleMania 39.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that there have been talks of Logan Paul and The Leader of Cenation facing each other at the Show of Shows already:

Logan Paul had asked to be against Cena at WrestleMania, but they never said that. There was definitely talk of Cena vs Logan Paul in November/December in that range.
