Triple H celebration went on longer than expected

This week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown ended with a huge event honoring Triple H. It was the celebration of his 25 years in the company. He also had a few special guests who appeared on FaceTime. It seems the show ran longer than the allotted time.

According to a report by Fightful Select, the Triple H 25th Anniversary Celebration went “way over the planned time.” Due to the show being pre-taped, it managed to work.

The Triple H 25th anniversary segment went way over the planned time for it on tonight’s show. Fortunately, that part was pre-taped. It was originally set to go about 10 minutes, but ended up going closer to 19-20 as they filmed it.

Vince McMahon also came out, making fun of the Game by joking that if the arena was full of fans they would be chanting “boring” at the segment. We will have to see if this segment helped with the ratings as it was a big nostalgia trip for most fans.
