Triple H Gains Huge WWE Power With Rumored Sale

WWE is worth several billions of dollars and it took time for them to reach that level. They have invested in several projects and now it seems Triple H and Stephanie McMahon own a greater stake than Vince McMahon.

According to new SEC filings, it has been noted that WWE Executives got quite a few stocks on February 4th. Vince McMahon bought 19,875 shares and now has a new balance of 89,496 shares.

Triple H bought 5,644 shares which means he now has 87,046 shares. Stephanie McMahon also got 5,644 shares and now she has 82,042 shares. The couple now has 169,088 combined shares, which is more than Vince McMahon.
There were also rumors that suggested WWE would be bought by NBCUniversal. WWE President Nick Khan addressed these rumors while he was being interviewed by Forbes. Khan shot down those rumors and said that the company has had no discussion regarding the matter whatsoever.

“We haven’t discussed it once. At all. By the way, thrilled with being on network TV at Fox. I think I sort of pushed on the emphasis [during the earnings call] on broadcast television, and how important that is, so love that, love what we’re doing with NBC, but no, there has been no dialogue internally or externally on anything like that.”
