Triple H might do away with 24/7 title

If reports from Xero News are to be believed ‘The Game’ wants to nix the WWE 24/7 title which was introduced under the reign of the former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon in 2019. The title was unveiled by Mick Foley on an edition of RAW, where Titus O’Neil from Raw became the inaugural champion by winning a scramble. It is similar to the previous WWE Hardcore Championship, which also had a 24/7 rule.

“Sources inform me Hunter wants to essentially scrap the 24/7 title. The issue is the title was brought in by USA Network.”

WWE has already begun to change their weekly television; this week, it was clear that they have removed the silly segments. There has been 24/7 Title segments on RAW for the past couple of weeks. Several released talent has been brought back as well. More are likely to be brought back as well. Thus far, Dakota Kai, IYO SHIRAI, and Karrion Kross (with Scarlett) are being pushed into top storylines on their respective brands. It’s also expected that more former talent will be asked about returning moving forward. We will have to see what he has in store for the fans.
