Triple H Humiliates Top WWE Diva Backstage

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus was reportedly set for a return to the company. Reports stated that Stratus would return on the latest edition of Monday Night RAW. However, that did not happen due to a creative change by Triple H. The Wrestling Informer reported that Stratus walked out during the show tonight, as that “perfect booker Triple H changed plans during the show.”

As per the reports of Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Stratus was at the show, which was held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, on Monday night, but the WWE Hall of Famer left before the segment. Sapp wrote that Stratus had been the original plan for the “Ding Dong, Hello” segment with Bayley, but she reportedly left the taping due to what was described as a “creative change.”

Though Stratus did not appear, Lita and Lynch challenged Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai & IYO SKY) to a match for the titles on Monday night. The two teams will clash on the February 27 episode of WWE RAW.

Stratus last appeared on WWE TV on the August 22 episode of WWE Raw, where she was confronted by Bayley, Kai, and SKY.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE had internally discussed a six-woman match pitting Lita, Lynch and Stratus against Damage CTRL, and while the seeds for such a match have yet to be planted, Dave Meltzer reported that the potential angle “isn’t dead” just yet. Meltzer added that the Stratus vs. Damage CTRL storyline was “expected to be revisited at some point” in the lead-up to WrestleMania 39.
