Triple H In Trouble For Bringing Back Controversial Star?

Triple H has signed back several former WWE stars ever since he took to the role in the creative department. It has been noted in the past that former WWE star Brian Kendrick was recently tried out as a producer in WWE. He was brought in to produce the Ronda Rousey versus Shotzi Blackheart match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship match at WWE Survivor Series WarGames alongside Jason Jordan. This decision surprised many backstage.

Brian Kendrick signing was surprising

With plenty of baggage over his shoulder, Dave Meltzer reported for F4WOnline.com that the former WWE Tag Team Champion’s return to the company was seen as a polarizing move.

“The only thing we heard was that it was a surprise to most people, including those at NXT who know him, that he was back.”

According to PWInsider, Kendrick isn’t officially back with company as of yet though the company did bring him to put up the SmackDown Women’s Championship match alongside Jason Jordan for Survivor Series.

Kendrick was set to make his AEW debut on the February 2, 2022 episode of Dynamite, but the company cancelled the plans due to Kendrick’s previous controversial remarks. Kendrick was pulled from his scheduled AEW match with Jon Moxley after a video of him questioning the Holocaust went viral on the internet. The former SmackDown star apologized for his insensitive comments as well.
