The recent hiring of Impact’s mainstay broadcaster by WWE was a pretty shocking piece of news, and it seems we now know who was responsible for it. According to PWInsider, Triple H made the decision to bring Jeremy Borash to WWE. Borash will be assigned to NXT and could begin working as early as Thursday.

Borash not only worked on screen as a broadcaster and interviewer but worked behind the scenes as a member of creative, working closely with stories like the Broken Hardys. Sending him to NXT is an interesting move, and could cause a huge change in the storytelling of the developmental brand if that is why they’ve decided to bring him on.
