Triple H compares NXT’s The Undisputed Era to iconic WWE faction

The Undisputed Era will take on the Kings of NXT at NXT TakeOver: War Games on Sunday night. The squad of Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong has been one of the dominant factions on the black-and-gold brand. Over the years, they have also been showered with praise by the ‘Father’ of NXT, Triple H.

Speaking to Ryan Satin ahead of NXT TakeOver, Triple H had only good things to say about The Undisputed Era. He even went as far as comparing them with D-Generation X, the legendary faction founded by him and Shawn Michaels.

Triple H heaps praise The Undisputed Era

The Undisputed Era will go into War Games as babyfaces this time. Triple H commended how they handed the switch and kept it real by being a unit.

“They’re all so talented. Roddy, Bobby, Kyle and Adam are just so talented and the thing that works for me with them, whether they’re good guys or bad guys, is the authenticity of it. The realness of it. That unit is that unit. They get along.

“We shoot stuff with them at a restaurant, where they’re doing toasts and all this stuff and it’s kind of like, well, you just put cameras there and let them go do their thing because they just go be them.”

Triple H also said that the same thing works for The Undisputed Era that worked for DX.

“So, that to me is the magic of it. When that magic is there, it’s next level. They have that magic. It’s real to them. There’s no show. I think that’s what worked with DX. It wasn’t a show. We were just us. We all got along in that manner. When it’s magic like that, it really works.”

The Undisputed Era will face the team of Pete Dunne, Pat McAfee, Oney Lorcan, and Danny Burch at NXT TakeOver: War Games. The women’s team will see Rhea Ripley, Shotzi Blackheart, Io Shirai, and Ember Moon against Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Raquel Gonzalez, and Toni Storm.
