Triple H seems to have brought back the former WWE star Samoa Joe, who was recently released from the company. His recent run in the company was as announcer on Monday Night Raw and currently on the usual 90-day non-compete clause.
As it turns out, he is already back in NXT and rumor states that he will be taking over after William Regal.
Samoa Joe to become the NXT GM?
PWInsider recently had confirmed that Joe could be back on the gold and black brand as it was reported that Triple H “snatched him back” as soon as he possibly could.
Another source stated that Triple H wanted him back in NXT as “opposed to being elsewhere.”

It has been noted that Joe has been at the WWE Performance Center at least once in recent memory but he was not backstage during NXT TakeOver: In Your House.
He has been away from the ring since February last year, and it is believed that he has not been medically cleared for in-ring competition.
“The belief is that while he could wrestle at some point, he will focus more on non-wrestling duties.”
After, the NXT TakeOver event, NXT GM William Regal dropped hints about bringing change to the brand and there is a possibility that Joe could be taking up Regal’s role.
Triple H has already made it clear that Regal will not leave NXT but he could move to backstage role.
