Triple H Rejected Big Name TNA Star

AJ Styles is certainly one of the top Superstars in the WWE roster ever since he made his debut back in 2016 at the Royal Rumble event. He is a two-time WWE Champion and won numerous other titles as well. The concept of the Forbidden Door has gained steam ever since AEW has brought it to light thanks to their partnership with Impact Wrestling and NJPW. AJ Styles also recently revealed AEW stars coming to WWE as well.

On the other hand, Triple H is currently the COO of WWE and he is also a veteran in the world of professional wrestling, having competed in several great matches and countless memorable moments during his time as an active in-ring competitor in the company. On the other hand, Vince McMahon is WWE’s Chairman and oversees everything that goes on in the company, right to the very last detail. Roman Reign’s bold message to Vince McMahon was also leaked previously.

AJ Styles recently spoke to BT Sport, where he revealed that he contacted Triple H to get a job in WWE but for some reason, Triple H never called him back until 2016. Styles did not find it odd as he simply believed WWE did not need for him at that time.

“They had Daniel Bryan at the time, so why would they need AJ Styles? And I was OK with that. When I was trying to talk to Triple H for the first time, he was supposed to call me after talking to Terry Taylor [who eventually opened the door for AJ Styles to join WWE]. I just told him, ‘Hey man, if there’s an opportunity then I’d like to have it.’ Then Triple H was supposed to call me. He didn’t. That’s OK. I just assumed they had all the talent they needed.”
