Triple H who looks after recruitment of the fresh talents in WWE had approached AEW star Jade Cargill. Upon her return in AEW became one of the dominant stars in the company.
She drew attention of fans when she made her debut back in November 2020 on an edition of Dynamite to confront Cody Rhodes.
Jade Cargill revealed she turned down what Triple H offered
Cargill recently spoke on Wrestling With The Week, where she discussed how she got into wrestling and later rejected offer from WWE.Cargill had attended a WWE tryout back in April 2019. Edge WWE Contract Payments
“I watched wrestling growing up. None of the guys wanted to wrestle me. They were like, ‘Oh, girls don’t wrestle.’ I was like, ‘Whatever, let’s do this.’ I would have to punch these guys in the face for them to want to get rough with me. I was just as tough as the guys. I was bigger, stronger. Watching Chyna really put a lot of confidence in myself. When she walked on stage she had a presence about herself that was so sure. She was very muscular and very fit. She looked damn good. Her talent and look was undeniable. That’s what drew me in. I came in around the Attitude Era. The opportunity came up with Mark Henry, he set me up with a [WWE] tryout. It went well, I was asked to come, turned it down, and here I am at AEW and I’m enjoying it,” she said.
She is currently undefeated in AEW.Cargill made her in-ring debut in March, teaming with Shaquille O’Neal to defeat Cody and Red Velvet.
