Triple H Removes Lita From WWE Raw

Throughout the pandemic, WWE had to make tough decisions in the name of budget cuts, which resulted in the release of several talented wrestlers. However, some of those names have found their way back into the company, thanks to the efforts of Triple H. In fact, it has recently been revealed that one of the released talents, Eric Young, was actually rehired by WWE last year, but has yet to make a return to television.

According to an exclusive report by Ringside News, WWE signed a few talents in 2022 who have not even debuted yet, and Eric Young was one of them. Young received the unfortunate phone call from WWE during the pandemic, notifying him of his release. However, it seems that he did not stay away from the company for long, as he was brought back by Triple H’s new regime just a few months after taking over in November 2022.

While Eric Young has been under WWE contract since November 1, 2022, he has not appeared on screen or even backstage, according to Sean Sapp of Fightful. It was also revealed that by October of that year, IMPACT Wrestling was made aware that Young would be finishing up with the company.

Interestingly, Young’s return to WWE has sparked speculation among fans about his potential involvement in Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House segment. Some believed that he could have been the announcer voice during that bizarre segment that Wyatt aimed at Bobby Lashley. However, Wyatt left television and has not been cleared for a return, and Eric Young has not made an appearance on WWE programming.

Despite not yet making his return to WWE television, Eric Young’s rehiring is still exciting news for wrestling fans, who are undoubtedly curious to see how he will be utilized in the future.
