Triple H Removing Top Star From SmackDown?

WWE Head of Creative Triple H might get rid of Max Dupri gimmick on SmackDown. There have been reports surrounding Max Dupri’s WWE status. Vince McMahon might have nixed the gimmick of the SmackDown star before his departure. The former WWE NXT 2.0 star Sofia Cromwell, now known as Maxxine Dupri recently made her main roster debut on an edition of Friday Night SmackDown. This took place inside the TD Garden in Boston, MA. Vince McMahon had announced his retirement ahead of the show. With Maxxine Dupri making her way to the blue brand, it seems, it is the end of Max Dupri. He previously went by the name of LA Knight in NXT and debuted as part of the Maximum Male Models agency, with ma.çé and mån.sôör being the first two acquisitions of the agency.

Triple H is trying to do away with Maximum Male Models

If reports of Xero News are to be believed, it seems Triple H has made plans to bring back LA Knight gimmick and eradicate Max Dupri. However, it turns out he might be keeping Mace and Mansoor as a tag team.

The outlet noted:

“Im informed that HHH has reportedly already made plans to get rid of Maximum Male Models and bring LA Knight back within the next month or 2 They could potentially keep Mace and Mansoor together as a team but as of now, apparently there’s no plans for them going forward”

Knight has not been featured on SmackDown for quite some time and it is believed that his gimmick will be repackaged as LA Knight in the future.
