Triple H Replaces Vince McMahon On Raw After Tragedy

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was not present during last Friday’s tapings for the Superstar Spectacle or Friday Night Smackdown. It seems the reason behind this has now been revealed.

Vince McMahon’s brother Rod McMahon passed away on January 20th at the age of 77. His cause of death was not revealed. Rod McMahon was a native of Long Island New York and was staying in Willis Texas when he passed away.

He was also a member of the US Air Force. His obituary on Legacy.com shed more details regarding his life.

Rod loved life, his other passions included his family, friends, shooting sports, all things dogs, and his enduring and fervent support of local law enforcement. Rod never met a stranger and was first to lend a hand to ANYONE in need.

Reports have also suggested that Vince McMahon was not present for this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW either. Triple H, Kevin Dunn, and Bruce Prichard took charge of the show in his absence.

It is rare for Vince McMahon to miss two television tapings back to back. We would like to offer our deepest condolences to Vince McMahon and his family during this difficult time in their lives.
