Triple H Reveals Bray Wyatt WWE Return Date

Bray Wyatt will return at WWE Extreme Rules, as a new White Rabbit video that originally was hinted at via a QR code on Triple H’s microphone, aired on WWE SmackDown stating that the White Rabbit will appear tommorrow.

Sadly, Jimmy Smith won’t get to announce Wyatt’s return. Jimmy Smith, who served as the WWE RAW commentator is no longer with the company. WWE commentary teams have been officially shuffled. WWE announced that RAW, SmackDown, NXT and Premium Live Events will all have updated announce booths starting with this week’s season premieres.

On Monday Night RAW, Corey Graves will still be providing his colorful insights and will be joined by Kevin Patrick on play-by-play. Mike Rome will continue to announce from the ring, and Byron Saxton will transition from the commentary booth to backstage interviews. Also joining Saxton in backstage interviews is none other than Cathy Kelley in her return to WWE.

Jimmy Smith receives offer from adult site

Adult live-streaming webcam platform CamSoda approached Jimmy Smith with a contract offer after the news of Smith’s departure from WWE was made public earlier in the day. The contents of the letter was revealed by Ringside News, and the outlet confirmed that Camsoda approached the former Raw play-by-lay commentator to commentate on private adult webcam sessions.

Read the full letter below:

Dear. Mr. Jimmy Smith,

I’m sad to see your time with the WWE as an announcer has come to an end. However, I see an opportunity to work together in a similar capacity. I’d like to extend you a contract offer to commentate on private adult webcam sessions for CamSoda, an adult entertainment webcam platform, for one year. You’d provide the play-by-play for the steamy action happening on camera, as well as live events the company runs throughout the year including ‘Car Wars’ and beer pong. In return for your role as an announcer, I’d be willing to compensate you up to $500,000.

Please take some time to consider my offer. I look forward to your response.

Sincerely,

Daryn Parker

CamSoda Vice President

Meanwhile, it has been noted that on Friday Night SmackDown, the commentary table will be headed by Michael Cole with Wade Barrett doing color commentary. It has been noted that Samantha Irvin will be the ring announcer, and interviews will be conducted by Kayla Braxton and Megan Morant.

Over on NXT, Vic Joseph will be assisted by six-time World Champion and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. Alicia Taylor will still provide her exceptional voice to ring announcing, and McKenzie Mitchell will once again be conducting interviews.

On the Premium Live Event side, Michael Cole and Corey Graves will come together again to announce from the booth. It was previously announced that Pat McAfee will return to the WWE announce booth following his commitments to ESPN’s College GameDay.

Smith was not included in any of the new teams, and he also confirmed that he is done with the company:

“Just wanted to say, now that the story is officially out, that my time with the WWE is officially done. Had a lot of fun and met some great people. Really and truly blown away by the acceptance from the WWE fans! You folks make it work every week and your enthusiasm was amazing!,” Smith tweeted today.
