Triple H Reveals Toni Storm Botch At NXT Takeover

NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day took place tonight and it was a newsworthy show, with Undisputed Era appearing to split (Kyle O’Reilly was unahppy with being snubbed from the card) and a great women’s title match between lo Shirai, Toni Storm, and Mercedes Martinez. Triple H reacted to a botch during the match where a table broke as Toni Storm tried to move monitors and cables.

Triple H said via PWInsider, “He was asked about the table collapsing during the NXT Women’s title bout. HHH said they didn’t miss a beat, they are pros and they went right on.

He said that sometimes, stuff happens and you have to roll with the punches. No matter what you do, things are never going to go as they are planned unless you are extremely lucky. The best performers are the ones who can ad lib on the fly.

If something goes awry, it can be really hard to adjust, but they did it really seamlessly. In the moment, you can’t do anything about it but you wish you could do everything you can to prevent it from happening. They are pros and they move on.”

Another major event at Takeover was Undisputed Era’s apparent split. Pat McAfee blamed Adam Cole for the breakup of Undisputed Era at NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day, calling him a ‘scumbag’ on Twitter.

“Who would’ve thought?? @AdamColePro’s a certified scumbag?? Color me surprised.”

He retweeted a fan who said, “So @PatMcAfeeShow was right all along about Adam Cole. #Cheers.”
