Triple H reveals what Vince McMahon told him about NXT

Triple H recently had an interview with TalkSport where he talked about things like his WrestleMania 35 match with Batista, competing with AEW and more.

During the interview, the game talked about his scheduled match with The Rock at WrestleMania 32 and revealed that it got canceled because the Rock’s schedule changed.

The former World Champion also claimed that Vince McMahon is not involved with NXT and revealed what the Boss told him about the Black and Yellow brand at the beginning:

He’s basically just said go make this thing a success. It’s what he told me in the beginning. ‘Go make this thing a success.’ We pick up the phone with each other every now and again. We see each other all the time. ‘How’s it going? Good. Excellent. Great.’ And we move on.

Commenting on AEW Dynamite going head to head with their own programming in NXT, Triple H claimed that he doesn’t approach it as a competitive thing

I don’t approach it as a competitive thing. To me, we’re just putting on our shows. I’m gonna put on the shows when we need to put them on, the best places we need to put them on, the right time slots for them and with the best talent I can find in the world. And we already have them. I’m confident in that. For me it’s not competitive against anyone or anything.
