Britt Baker is Adam Cole’s girlfriend and so her making an appearance at NXT TakeOver: WarGames was not a surprise, even if she is an AEW star.
During the post TakeOver conference call, Triple H was asked regarding Britt Baker being shown on camera during the event. He said it was an accident and the director just selected the person who looked the most astonished in the crowd. It simply turned out to be Britt Baker. According to a report by Sean Ross Sapp, here is what he said:
Triple H just spoke to @RealBrittBaker and he says the director didn’t know who the shot was, he went to the person in the crowd who had the most unbelievable look on their face, and it was her. He doesn’t have a problem with it, but feels bad for putting her in that position
Baker is unlikely to get any sort of heat for attending her boyfriend’s match. It is certain Triple H feels bad about showing Baker on television.
