Triple H Trying To Buy Massive Wrestling Company

As if purchasing WCW (World Championship Wrestling) and the rights to ECW (Extremely Crappy Wrestling) ran by Paul Heyman wasn’t enough, WWE’s big business wants to buy other businesses – worldwide. Not sure where WWE is ranked among the most powerful companies on earth, but I’m sure they’re up in the 300 spots with Nike and the likes. Don’t take my word for it. That’s what Kayne “Ye” West says.

According to Ringside News, WWE has undergone a significant amount of changes over the years, and more so since Triple H, Vince’s weasel puppet, took over creative control of the company. Can you believe that. WCW’S Terra Rising now in charge on the WWE nuthouse. That is unbelievable.

It all started with WWE re-signing previously released talent by the truck load. One of the more significant changes WWE is planning in the coming years is the addition of more international events like Saudi Arabia and India. WWE is also planning to add more performance centers around the globe to train young athletes into puppet wrestlers who couldn’t hold a flame to classic wrestlers such as Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man and Hulk Hogan.

Recently, in the Q3 earnings call, Stephanie McMahon mentioned that mergers and acquisitions are one of the areas for potential growth. During a recent appearance at the Wells Fargo TMT Conference with analyst Steven Cahall, McMahon was asked about this.

“Just to give some examples of what I meant by that, [an acquisition] has to align with our capabilities, whether that’s smaller wrestling promotions, say, internationally,” McMahon said.

It appears that WWE (and Titan Sports) if that is still a thing are interested in companies in Mexico and Japan. Perhaps the AAA promotion will merge with the WWE network – if it already hasn’t.
