Triple H Trying To Sign AEW Main Event Star

Triple H is EVP of Talent Relations and Head of Creative and it comes after Vince McMahon recently announced his retirement from his roles as Chairman and CEO of WWE. It was later clarified that he was also done with his work on creative.’The Game’ has already started making some changes to the dynamic of the roster. Bayley made her return to the company after injury, while Io Shirai and Dakota Kai have been signed back with the company. Karrion Kross, who was released has been brought back as well. It turns out Hunter is eyeing to add some more talents under his regime.

Triple H has his sight set on Konosuke Takeshita

AEW’s Konosuke Takeshita is one of the promising athletes of the promotion and he has already impressed several veterans. He has already locked horns with the likes of Interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and ‘Hangman’ Adam Page.

With a string of impressive performances, Dave Meltzer stated on the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE has shown interest in signing a top Japanese talent into the company:

“It’s not like he’ll be here for a year and then they can never use him again. So the fact that they don’t have him under a five-year deal or anything like that, shouldn’t be incumbent on (how they use him). I don’t know what his deal is with DDT. WWE, if he doesn’t have a full-time deal somewhere… WWE is looking for a big Japanese guy as we speak, and this guy’s got some size, and he’s young, and he’s got a good body, and he’s a fantastic wrestler. So somebody there may stumble upon him and be interested, because he’s exactly what they’re looking for.” H/T WrestleTalk

We will have to see if HHH is able to sign Takeshita in WWE.
