Triple H Was Jealous Of WWE Star Before Firing

Vince McMahon was the CEO of WWE before he had to step down following allegations of sexual misconduct and allegedly having paid $12 million in hush money in a huge scandal. He eventually retired from WWE for good and was replaced by his daughter Stephanie McMahon as the CEO of WWE. His son-in-law Triple H is now the Executive Vice President of Talent and Relations as wellVince McMahon also lied about quitting WWE recently.

While speaking to Steve Fall, former WWE Superstar Charlie Haas talked about Team Angle’s demise. Haas suggested that Triple H had Team Angle split up due to jealousy.

“We heard that the Team Angle thing was getting so hot on SmackDown. You’ve got to remember what was really hot on the other show, Evolution. So, we heard that maybe it was getting too close to what was going on over there. Maybe it was competition; that’s what we heard because they didn’t split Evolution; they split us.

That’s the powers that be; I couldn’t that answer that question if I tried. That’s what I was told, or maybe it was coming from Kurt thinking that maybe, that Hunter at the time was thinking that we’re too much competition for them instead of raising the bar to see who is better, we can just dismantle one team.”
