One of the most exciting moments of the inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble match was when the Attitude Era Star Trish Stratus made her return to a WWE ring.
During a recent interview with The Niagara Falls Review, Stratus talked about her appearance on the show and revealed when the company contacted her.
According to Stratus, she got the offer on December 26th, almost a month before the PPV and replying to it she asked to talk to her family:
“I got the word on Dec. 26 … I was eating a chocolate peanut butter ball. I was like, ‘Oh my God!’ I put the peanut butter ball down and said, ‘OK, let me talk to my family.’
Continuing on the topic, Trish also revealed that she asked a friend to set up a practice ring after receiving a call from the company because she wanted to make sure that she can pull off the appearance.
