WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus recently shared a piece of concerning news to her fans just weeks after her RAW return. Taking to her social media account, she had revealed that her appendix was about to burst, and she had to undergo emergency surgery. Her surgery was successful and she has now provided a positive update for the fans.
Trish Stratus thanks her fans for the wishes
Stratus took to social media and provided an update on her health. Stratus stated that she is feeling much better after the surgery and thanked her fans for sending well wishes to her.
Here is what she said in a video clip posted on her Twitter account:
“I just wanted to hop on here and say thank you for all the messages. I did not expect such an outpour of support and well-wishes. It really means a lot and I’m sorry if I worried you. It was just a crazy, crazy occurrence. The takeaway is to listen to your body and thankfully I did.
I’m trying to listen to my body now during the healing process. I tend to do ‘normal person’ things when I’m a ‘post-surgery person’ right now. So I’m listening to my body and trying to slow down and take the time to recover. But everything is okay, honestly doing really well. I think a lot of recovery is mind over matter “
Thanks for the messages guys ♥️ pic.twitter.com/Wg41VhwfUb

There have been rumors of her returning to the ring over the past year or so. During the 22nd August edition of Monday Night RAW in Toronto, Stratus teased coming out of retirement until she was interrupted by Bayley’s Damage CTRL stable. Stratus also got physical in the ring at a pair of WWE live events in Canada last month, coming to the aid of Alexa Bliss & Asuka during their brawl with Bayley’s stable.
