Trump Begs Supreme Court Justices For Help

According to Mediaite, former President Donald Trump’s legal troubles continue to mount as he faces a third indictment, this time on charges of conspiracy and obstruction related to the January 6 attack on the Capitol and his alleged efforts to overturn the election. Trump appeared in the Washington, D.C., federal courthouse to enter a plea of not guilty in response to these latest charges.

In typical Trump fashion, the former President took to social media to express his frustration and portray himself as the victim, blaming President Joe Biden for what he perceives as a barrage of weak lawsuits aimed at him. Trump claimed that these lawsuits are draining his time, resources, and energy, preventing him from focusing on other activities like campaign ads and rallies. He further stated that he believes these legal actions are a form of election interference and called on the Supreme Court to intercede on his behalf.

However, it remains unclear how the Supreme Court could intercede in legal proceedings that have not even begun. Trump’s call for the Court’s intervention could be seen as an attempt to influence the judicial process in his favor, which could raise concerns about the separation of powers and the independence of the judiciary.

CRAZY! My political opponent has hit me with a barrage of weak lawsuits, including D.A., A.G., and others, which require massive amounts of my time & money to adjudicate. Resources that would have gone into Ads and Rallies, will now have to be spent fighting these Radical Left Thugs in numerous courts throughout the Country. I am leading in all Polls, including against Crooked Joe, but this is not a level playing field. It is Election Interference, & the Supreme Court must intercede. MAGA!

Additionally, Trump’s follow-up post about Fox & Friends and polling data indicates that he continues to be fixated on his public image and how he is portrayed in the media. He expressed disappointment that the show did not display all the polls where he allegedly beats Biden and criticized the declining ratings of the show.

Trump’s use of social media to air grievances and promote his version of events is nothing new. Throughout his presidency and beyond, he utilized platforms like Twitter to communicate directly with his supporters and share his opinions and views.
