Former President Donald Trump’s attorney who’s overseeing his civil fraud trial in New York vowed to investigate Democrats as soon as he gets back in office via Mediaite.

It has been noted that speaking to a crowd in Phoenix, Arizona for the annual Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest conference, Alina Habba claimed President Joe Biden mishandled classified documents but that her client, Trump, was covered for his own documents scandal.

Habba brought up the Presidential Records Act, saying it protected Trump but that it would not cover Biden while Vice President.

“Because he wasn’t president when he took his boxes in six different locations. In Chinatown. In his car next to his son, who’s doing God knows what with God knows who,” she said. But that is what they do. They hide what they’ve done by going after Trump. Look at the shiny ball, everybody. Don’t look at us.”

She then suggested Trump would appoint her to a position in the administration to investigate his political opponents for wrongdoings.

“Well, they’ve got one year and then we’re going to be looking at them,” she said. “Deep and hard.”

After some crowd reaction to the comment, she added, “I’ll tell you right now, if I’m in Washington, I’ll be relentless to.”

Trump is currently facing four criminal indictments in four different jurisdictions, including for his handling of classified material after leaving office. It has been noted that the former President reportedly took boxes of highly classified material with him when he departed the White House and stored it at his Mar-a-Lago estate despite requests from the National Archives to return them.

Meanwhile, classified documents from his time as vice president were also found at Biden home in Delaware nearly a year ago, resulting in the appointment of a special counsel. However, Biden’s legal counsel, unlike Trump, notified the National Archives of the documents upon their discovery and returned them.
