Trump Hater Arrested For Hacking Tucker Carlson

In a shocking revelation that many people most definitely didn’t expect at all, it has come to light that a federal prosecutor in Tampa is currently investigating an alleged hack of Fox News that resulted in the release of internal videos featuring Tucker Carlson. The Tampa Bay Times recently published a bombshell report detailing the investigation, which involves the search of Trump hating media consultant Tim Burke’s residence by the FBI. Burke, who is known on Twitter as @bubbaprog and has worked for publications like Deadspin and The Daily Beast, is not accused of any wrongdoing at this time.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jay Trezevant sent a letter to Fox News requesting the preservation of information and records related to the computer hacks at the company. The investigation focuses on allegations of unauthorized computer access, interception of wire, oral or electronic communication, conspiracy, and other federal crimes. While the letter does not explicitly mention Burke, sources close to the investigation confirmed that it relates to the search conducted at his home in Seminole Heights on May 8.

The videos in question were made public through Vice News and Media Matters for America, both of which are not implicated in any illegal activities. Vice News released unaired footage of Carlson’s interview with Kanye West from the previous year, while Media Matters, following Carlson’s departure from Fox News in the past month, unveiled several candid videos of the host on set in a series called “FOXLEAKS.”

“The letter does not mention Burke, but the Times confirmed with two people close to the investigation that the matter relates to the May 8 search at his Seminole Heights home,” noted the report, which added Burke “has not been accused of any wrongdoing.”

It is worth noting that Burke is married to Lynn Hurtak, a Tampa City Council member, who has vehemently denied any involvement in the leaks or the ongoing criminal investigation.

Previously, Carlson’s legal team accused Fox of breaching their agreement by leaking his private communications and using them to take adverse employment action against him. In a letter addressed to the network, his lawyers pointed fingers at Irena Briganti, the senior executive vice president of corporate communications at Fox, accusing her of attempting to undermine and embarrass Carlson in his post-Fox career.

They further stated their intention to subpoena Briganti’s cell phone records and related documents to uncover communications with her and various media outlets, including but not limited to The New York Times.

“Make no mistake, we intend to subpoena Ms. Briganti’s cell phone records and related documents, which evidence communications with her and all media, including, but not limited to the New York Times
