Donald Trump is in the midst of a situation where he needs to prove that he hasn’t committed a fraud. The New York court ruling confirms that he committed fraud.
The former president has appealed against this and removed his New York business certificates. This comes after the ruling didn’t come in the favour of the 45th President of the United States.
According to Washington Examiner, Steven Cheung, Trump’s spokesperson stated that Mr. Trump has left his New York trial for his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. He wouldn’t be available for the rest of the week. Earlier during the hearing Trump had stated that he would be somewhere else, but instead he has to be in the court and face this trial.

The civil fraud case brought by Attorney General Letitia James doesn’t seem to be over, even though the judgement seems to be the one that favours her. James’ lawsuit seeks $250 million. It also claims that the Trump organization decieved banks, insurers, and others by overestimating his net worth. She said “Trump show is over”.

Donald Bender, an accountant for Trump’s family business took the shot that information about Trump’s financial statements wasn’t usually provided. He also stated that he missed the Trump Tower apartment information.
Defense lawyer Jesus Suarez didn’t take kindly to this comment and stated that it is because of Bender’s mistake that the Trump Organization is “going through hell because he missed it.”
