Donald Trump Jr. took to Twitter and uploaded an email about the Biden family, who held a special BBQ at the White House during the same time as the attacks on Israel.
Did Joe Biden have one or two scoops of ice cream at yesterday’s White House picnic as women and children were murdered and raped in Israel? I remember that used to be a big topic of discussion amongst the media.

According to Newsweek, a number of prominent right-wing figures have voiced criticism of President Joe Biden for hosting a barbecue event at the White House over the weekend, amidst the ongoing heavy conflict between Israeli forces and Hamas militants.
One of the prominent critics was Republican Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, who condemned Biden for organizing the event for White House staff and their families on a Sunday. This gathering included a live band and occurred just one day after Hamas launched a surprise incursion, resulting in one of the deadliest days of fighting in the Israel-Palestine conflict in decades.
According to the Associated Press, the conflict has led to the deaths of at least 700 people in Israel and a further 400 in Gaza since Hamas initiated the incursion. Israel has officially declared war against Hamas, which is designated as a terrorist group by both the U.S. and the European Union. Reports have also emerged alleging that Hamas has captured Israeli hostages, including elderly individuals and children. While Israel and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken have reported the potential capture of American citizens, these reports have not been confirmed.
Senator Hawley took to social media to express his criticism, stating, “While Hamas holds Americans hostage, Joe Biden is enjoying a picnic with a live band.” He shared a White House pool report that mentioned music being heard in the vicinity of the Rose Garden on Sunday evening and highlighted that Biden and the First Lady were “hosting a BBQ” for White House executive resident staff and their families.
Scott Taylor, a former Virginia Republican congressman, also voiced his concerns, saying, “Given recent events, and certainly with the news of many Americans being held hostage in Gaza, I think I would have canceled the White House BBQ with the live band.”
Political commentator and podcast host Benny Johnson pointed out, “This weekend, several Americans were killed in Israel, and several more are still being held hostage by Hamas. Today, Joe Biden called a lid at 11:34 a.m. and is having a barbecue.” The term “calling a lid” is used in political reporting to indicate that the president will not be making any more public statements or be available to the press for the remainder of the day.
