Meanwhile, Florida Governor and 2024 presidential candidate Ron DeSantis reportedly signed an Executive Order directing Florida resources to assist with rescue efforts in Israel as 20,000 Americans remain trapped there, as per The Daily Wire.
It has been noted that DeSantis assigned the responsibility of organizing chartered flights for Floridians who were still in Israel to the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM).
Following this event, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to provide more information on the Governor’s signing of the executive order. However, the internet did not respond positively to Hannity’s tweet and brutally slammed DeSantis.
Fox News Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “DeSANTIS: “We will not leave our residents behind. To the many Floridians who are stuck in Israel, trying to get home — help is on the way.”
Hannity’s tweet featured an article from its official website titled, “’HELP IS ON THE WAY’: DeSantis Signs Executive Order for Rescue Ops in Israel.”
As per The Daily Wire, DeSantis assigned the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) the responsibility of coordinating chartered flights for Floridians still in Israel.
FDEM was additionally addressing the logistical aspects of delivering supplies to Israel, which is currently engaged in a full-scale conflict against Palestinian militants responsible for the deaths of over 1,300 Israelis and at least 27 Americans.
Numerous individuals sustained injuries in the attacks, with over 100 individuals being abducted, and many others still unaccounted for.
