Former President Donald Trump is being trolled over an unedited photo of him from one of his recent rallies. The account that posted the image called out Trump for like a 90-year-old.
The account wrote, “Look close at this unedited photo; it’s Trump apparently without makeup. Could this explain why he paints his face? He look like he’s 90 years old.
It is noted that nobody should be age-shaming anyone. But, we all need to admit age does change our abilities, and Trump is way too old to be president. A picture of the former president with a face covered in melting makeup went viral online in January of this year and talk of Trump wearing makeup again began to arise.
The image of Trump that went viral was shot during a campaign event in Iowa ahead of the state’s caucuses, and it showed him with what appeared to be orange makeup practically flowing off of his face.
LGBTQ Nation stated that Trump needed someone at Sephora to teach him about undertones. A group of moderate conservative Never Trump supporters called the Lincoln Project shared the image on X and asked viewers to “Name this foundation shade.”
Due to the photo’s widespread distribution on social media, Snopes investigated it. The fact-checking website discovered that the picture was real and that photojournalist Tannen Maury took it. Maury verified that the picture was “authentic” and was taken for Agence France-Presse (AFP) on January 6, 2024, during a Trump rally in Clinton, Iowa.
