According to Mediaite, Donald Trump unleashed a scathing diatribe against Forbes, leveling a barrage of unsubstantiated claims as he vented his frustration over being removed from the magazine’s list of America’s wealthiest individuals.
Just a day after asserting that the Hamas attack on Israel would never have occurred had he still been in office, Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to redirect his ire towards Forbes, which had published unfavorable coverage of him approximately a week prior. In a blistering tirade, Trump not only criticized his various adversaries but also insinuated (without providing any evidence) that Forbes was colluding with New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is currently pursuing legal action against him on fraud charges.
Trump lambasted Forbes, referring to it as “China-owned,” specifically highlighting its connection to the China Investment Corporation, the nation’s sovereign wealth fund. He went on to dismiss the magazine as having lost its relevance long ago and claimed that Forbes knew less about him than individuals such as Stormy Daniels, who had no personal knowledge of him, or Rosie O’Donnell. Trump expressed his outrage at being excluded from Forbes’ “Fake Forbes 400 list,” contending that he should have occupied a prominent position on the list, which he deemed outdated and discredited.
Furthermore, Trump accused Forbes of colluding in what he dubbed the “Election Interference Scam,” insinuating that the magazine’s actions were in retaliation for his tough stance on China, which had resulted in hundreds of billions of dollars flowing into the United States. He alleged that Forbes had consistently attacked him through the use of inept writers assigned to tarnish his image.
In an attempt to bolster his argument, Trump claimed that his popularity had soared among Republicans, asserting that he was now leading by a substantial margin over his opponent, Joe Biden. Trump concluded his diatribe by scoffing at Forbes and its actions, effectively dismissing its relevance.
Trump’s outrage was triggered by Forbes’ coverage of his diminishing net worth and his subsequent removal from the coveted list of America’s wealthiest 400 individuals. Forbes justified its decision by citing the lack of profitability of Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social, despite the considerable attention it had garnered due to Trump’s potential run for the presidency once again.
China owned (China Investment Corp, the Country’s Sovereign wealth Fund!), and very badly failing, Forbes ‘Magazine,’ which lost most of its relevance long ago, and which knows less about me than Stormy Daniels (who doesn’t know me at all!) or Rosie O’Donnell, took me off their Fake Forbes 400 list, just by a ‘whisker,’ even though they know that I should be high up on that now very dated and discredited ‘antique.’ They are working with the Racist and highly incompetent, job killing Attorney General of New York, Letitia ‘Peekaboo’ James, who has allowed Murder and Violent Crime in the State to hit epidemic levels.
