According to Mediate, former President Donald Trump delivered a stark warning during a speech at the Washington, D.C. Pray Vote Stand Summit, expressing concerns about President Joe Biden’s ability to lead the nation and suggesting that reelecting him in 2024 could have dire consequences. Trump claimed that Biden is “cognitively impaired” and ill-suited to handle the responsibilities of the presidency, particularly in matters involving Russia and the potential for nuclear conflict.
Amid a backdrop of dramatic and emotional music, Trump stated, “We have a man who is totally corrupt and the worst president in the history of our country, who is cognitively impaired, in no condition to lead, and is now in charge of dealing with Russia and possible nuclear war.” He went on to emphasize the gravity of the situation, warning that the world could quickly descend into another global conflict, far more devastating than any before, if Biden were to lead the country into a war.
In an apparent slip of words, Trump mentioned “World War 2,” when he likely meant to refer to a hypothetical “World War 3.” He has made similar claims about the potential for a major conflict under Biden’s leadership in the past.
During the same speech, Trump also touched on his political standing in the 2024 election. He appeared to suggest that he was leading in the polls against former President Barack Obama, but then abruptly shifted his focus. Trump mentioned how he, as a candidate, had faced a divided country during the 2016 election and successfully won against Hillary Clinton.
“We have a man who is totally corrupt and the worst president in the history of our country, who is cognitively impaired, in no condition to lead, and is now in charge of dealing with Russia and possible nuclear war.”
As dramatic and emotional music played in the background, Trump continued, “Just think of it. We would be in World War 2 very quickly if we’re going to be relying on this man, and far more devastating than any war. There will never be a war if that happens— there will never be a war like this. It will obliterate everything there is, everybody, it will obliterate every country.”
The speech showcased Trump’s ongoing critique of the current administration and his political aspirations for the future, while also highlighting his concerns about the state of the nation under President Biden’s leadership.
