UFC Star Claims He ‘Killed’ Fedor Emelianenko

Fedor Emelianenko recently revealed that he will be returning to the world of MMA. Fabricio Werdum is one of the fighters who has started actively calling out Fedor for a fight against him. It seems the trend of legendary people returning to a sport is not just limited to the world of professional wrestling.

Fabricio Werdum recently took to Twitter and called out Fedor Emelianenko once again, as he called the possible fight the biggest rematch in history. Bellator President Scott Coker announced Fedor’s return on June 25th and revealed that he will be fighting on October 23rd in Moscow, Russia.

Fabricio Werdum claimed that Fedor Emelianenko was never the greatest of all time as he ‘killed’ him.

Fedor was never the goat because I killed the @ScottCoker let’s go

Werdum was obviously referring to their 2010 match in Strikeforce, where he submitted Emelianenko in 69 seconds. Werdum continued to post multiple tweets stating that if Fedor wants revenge then he is more than happy to go to Russia to fight him.

Emelianenko’s last MMA fight was in December 2019 as he beat Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson via knockout in the first round. This made Werdum call him out for a fight in 2020 after he left the UFC.
