UFC Star Makes Joe Rogan Death Remark

UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently took to Instagram and revealed that he had contracted COVID-19. He wanted to let his fans know that he is well on the road to recovery. Recently, Chael Sonnen released a video jokingly requesting Rogan give him his iconic black shirt if the podcaster succumbs to COVID-19.

Sonnen stated:

“Joe Rogan, thoughts go out to you. And, guys, Joe Rogan got COVID. He made this very public. Joe has a bit of an iconic black shirt; solid black. He’s called shows in it. It’s fitted, larger in the chest, made for big arms, kind of tight around the waist. I don’t want anything to happen to Joe. (But) if…If something happens, that shirt, Joe, can I have it?”

Joe Rogan previously sported black shirt

Rogan, a long-tenured UFC commentator, and MMA analyst, has often been witnessed donning a black shirt while working as part of the commentary team at UFC events. In one of the most recent events Joe Rogan worked at – the blockbuster UFC 264 fight card headlined by MMA megastar Conor McGregor – saw him wearing the shirt. Chael Sonnen’s last fight was against former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida. ‘The American Gangster’ and Machida fought at Bellator 222 in June 2019. ‘The Dragon’ defeated Sonnen via second-round TKO. Following the fight, ‘The American Gangster’ announced his retirement from MMA. Now, Sonnen works as an MMA analyst for ESPN.
