UK Women’s championship will also be defended at Evolution

As noted earlier, the all women’s Evolution pay-per-view will feature female Superstars from every brand in WWE. The RAW, SmackDown and NXT women’s titles will be defended on the show. Notable legends and WWE Hall of Famers will also be present at the show, with Trish Stratus and Lita being confirmed.

However, a wwe.com article suggests that another title will also be defended at this historic pay-per-view. The UK women’s title is slated to be defended at Evolution. Triple H did confirm a UK Women’s division at last month’s UKCT tapings, therefore, its only natural that they’ll have their own title.

Here’s the part from the article that reveals this important bit of information.

On Monday Night Raw, WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon announced the formation of WWE Evolution, a groundbreaking all-women’s exclusive pay-per-view event that will take place on Sunday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. ET from NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New York. The event will stream live on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view around the world, featuring Women’s Championship Matches from Monday Night Raw, SmackDown LIVE, NXT and NXT UK, as well as the finals of the all-women’s tournament, Mae Young Classic 2018.
