Undertaker Apologizes For Legit Beating Up Wrestler

The Undertaker is truly in the world of professional wrestling as he gave more than thirty years of his life to the business. He ended his career at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view back in 2020, bringing an end to his legacy. The Undertaker also terrified a WWE Superstar before he got fired by the company.

The Undertaker has been married to former WWE Superstar and former WWE Divas & Women’s Champion Michelle McCool for eleven years now and fans were surprised when the two tied the knot back in 2010. Now it seems the two are celebrating their 12th year together and it is certainly a joyous occasion.

The Phenom has worked with the top pro wrestlers in the history of the business throughout the years and has had great matches with many of them.

“The Undertaker took the time to personally apologize to me after a heated post-match attack during the early 1990s,” shared Bill Pierce in a recent recollection. Pierce, a former WWE enhancement talent, had the privilege of facing the legendary performer at two Superstars tapings, with their first encounter airing on September 14, 1991 and ending with The Deadman trapping Pierce in a body bag.

However, the incident took a dark turn when, as Pierce recounted in the body bag, The Undertaker stomped on his throat. On the Cheap Heat Productions Podcast, Pierce spoke about the encounter, stating, “The Undertaker’s apology meant a lot to me, as it showed that he was a professional who took his actions in the ring seriously and was accountable for his actions.”

The Undertaker’s apology highlights his professionalism and his respect for the industry and his opponents. It serves as a reminder that despite the scripted nature of professional wrestling, the performers take their actions in the ring seriously and strive to maintain a level of respect and professionalism.

“I looked at it [the body bag] and I was laughing at it, and he actually stepped on my throat when he did the foot gimmick. But, you know, I’m inside the bag, so he couldn’t know. Thank God he was holding back. I can’t imagine if he really laid it down.” [22:18 – 22:29]
Pierce later mentioned the incident to the 2022 WWE Hall of Famer, who immediately issued an apology:

“I was like, ‘Bro, you caught me.’ ‘Oh, sorry, man, I’m sorry, but thank you for everything you did.
